Digital Marketing Case Study – Kings Fresh Chinese Buffet ​

Since 1997, Kings Buffet group offers authentic oriental taste to satisfy every appetite. We have the various choices of Chinese, Szechuan, and Canadian foods and we provide each guest with their favorites every time they visit, from the first bite to the last.

Whether people opt to enhance their event with Kings Buffets’ delicious catering options for any size group, or want to enjoy their business and social events in the comforts of Kings Buffet, they can be assured it will be an occasion to remember!

The Challenge

The main challenge for this household name Chinese buffet restaurant was the COVID-19 pandemic, which caused all restaurants in Ontario to close in March.

Their website was also old and outdated, with no e-commerce features. They aimed to combine their desire to pivot their business while again reaching their goal of helping their community.

The Strategy

We first designed a brand new user-friendly Shopify website for them. This would allow customers to order Chinese food & groceries online for take out or delivery.

We then built a Google Ads campaigns for people actively searching for Chinese food and grocery delivery in Hamilton. Finally, we launched Facebook Ads to generate awareness of this new service to potential local customers.
