Digital Marketing Case Study

Xinbo Roofing was funded in 2016. They started marketing their business through word of mouth, referrals, YellowPages marketing, and very limited online exposure. They decided to take a leap of faith in March 2018 and invest their limited dollars in digital marketing.

The Challenge

The client was having a difficult time to be found on Google. Search engines did not rank their name very high, therefore, local customers could not find them anywhere! Though they had a website with Yellow Pages, it was not optimized and not “Marketing-ready”, and there was no conversion tracking system set in place to track website traffic and its related data. They had no conversion online, and their hope with digital marketing was running low. Since they were a newly established company, their budget was also limited.

Since this client was brand new in such a competitive industry, brand awareness was essential to be discovered by their potential local customers.

The Strategy

Overall, the strategy was to rank on Google and have a well-functioning website. First, we built them a brand new website, designed specifically for customer experience, and eye-catching headlines. We built a cross-channel conversion system to show them their own results, to see exactly what channels were bringing in the traffic. We decided to focus on marketing them in the GTA. Since they are in an industry in which the ad bidding is high, we chose long-tail keywords to assure quality traffic, that turns into conversions. We also tracked their phone calls, and monitored them to give the client feedback, and see how they could improve sales.

Then, we focused on local SEO campaigns and on-page SEO so that when people searched for their services, they could start to rank and become visible to their potential consumers. 

Results

From 0 conversions to over 60 conversions in just 1 month!

Before taking over their account, they did not get much website traffic, and absolutely no conversions. Once we took over in March 2018, optimized their website, set up the conversion tracking system, and monitored their calls, Xinbo Roofing started seeing shocking results. Their conversions skyrocketed! They went from having no online exposure, and 0 calls, to over 60 calls in just one month!
