On Tuesday afternoon, March 13th, Noah co-hosted the Partner Connect with Google at our office.
We were very excited to have over ten entrepreneurs and business owners sign up and attend the event. We had the great pleasure of speaking with the attendees who were very interested in taking the advantages of digital marketing to grow their businesses. We showed them one of our clients as an example, DY Printing Box, a small business that has tripled their sales within 18 months with the help of digital marketing.
During Google live broadcast, Google experts spoke about video ads and how they can be used to move from attention-grabbing to action. The power of video is that it can communicate more information, at a more efficient rate.
Google speakers explained 3 keys to make video drive performance:

3. Then drive measurable action
With people’s attention shifting, 8 in 10 multitask on another device while watching TV. YouTube ads are full sight & sound pitches for your business to a viewer who’s leaning in to watch. Only 66% of (non-YouTube) video ads are at least 50% on screen for at least 2 seconds. And only 45% of TV commercial time is actually watched due to skipping, multitasking, and channel switching.
By applying the implementation of the best practices for a custom intended audience you are able to target people with video ads on YouTube after they’ve searched for specific keywords on Google. A cross-sectional phenomenon.
With over 72% of Canadian smartphone user expects mobile-friendly web pages and over 92% of Canadians starts on Google, it is time to leverage the online power into new leads and profits for your business.
